We have a new career opportunity available for a Category Manager Facilities Goods & Services.

About your Role

In this senior role, you will independently source spend segments within a category on a regional level & develop category management that adjusts the category based on market developments. Furthermore, your role is to manage the supply market, to closely interact with businesses and relevant stakeholders and communicate changes towards these involved stakeholders. Key supplier management, risk management and contributing to ARLANXEO’s overall targets are key components of your daily activities.

About your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following topics:

Sourcing:

• Source spend segments & manage regional/local spend;
• Implement the developed strategies and lead recurring optimization processes within ARLANXEO;
• Lead negotiations, conclude deals within the area of responsibility and maintain regional/local framework contracts;
• Initiate and lead major sourcing projects.                                                                   

Supply Market Management

• Develop, implement and maintain own sourcing strategies, conduct market research, optimize supplier base (e.g. bundling/consolidation) and identify alternative sourcing concepts jointly with the cross function department;                               
• Monitor and analyse market development and direct changes & forecast prices of strategic spend segments; 
• Responsible for developing and aligning the Procurement Strategy for the acquisition of high-quality services in the area of infrastructure and production support;                                      
• Responsible for the negotiation and the commercial management of contracts within the category scope (General Office & Site Services/Waste Management, Analysis and Inspection Services on Raw Materials, Building and Maintenance, Rent Agreements, IT, etc.);                                                          
• Responsible for the system release of purchase orders, invoice clarification and approval, risk management for category in scope, maintaining the credit card and travel program for Singapore.            

Business Partnership

• Support innovation projects and new business development activities;                   
• Monitor and maintain Cybersecurity awareness related to IT risks on innovation projects and new business development activities.                                                                         

Supplier Management

• Responsible for developing, influencing, maintaining supplier relationship and Key Supplier program elements with support of Business/internal stakeholders;                                                                       
• Responsible for projects cross area of responsibility (e.g. Cross Category, Cross Department, BU, Supplier);

• Risk Management to mitigate as much as possible risks /e.g. financial capabilities of suppliers).                                            

About your profile            

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business/Economics with 8-15 years’ experience in procurement;
• Extensive experience and broad knowledge in procurement, business and project management and financial acumen;
• Extensive analytical and proven negotiation skills,
• Familiar working in different cultural/business environment, leadership experience and team orientation;
• Technical experience or education is an advantage for highly technical areas;
• Fluent in English (other language are a plus, MS-Office, SAP4 HANA, Coupa).
