Job objectives

  • The primary objective is to manage Japan and Korea business to achieve commercial objectives
  • To lead and develop Japan, Korea Sales Team and major partners (Agent/Distributors)
  • To manage the global key accounts in Japan and Korea to achieve Commercial targets


This position working closely with Regional BU Head, Global Marketing, Sales/Technical Managers, Global Account Coordinators, Integrated Business Planning Team, External Customers



  • Achieve sales and margin target of individual accounts as set by Region/Global.
  • GKA Coordinator (Bridgestone, Yokohama, Sumitomo, Toyo, Hankook Tire, Nexen Tire etc)
  • Support annual Sales contract set-up and implementation for Japan/Korea Tire accounts global plants
  • Quarterly/Monthly PBR Price Negotiation with major Tire Accounts
  • Visit key customers on regular basis and input reports in CRM.
  • Devise specific strategy for key accounts by making an account plan for target customers.
  • Strongly contribute to the success of Korean/Japanese accounts both in the region and globally.
  • Proactively come up with proposals to regional HQ about specific action to be taken in the Japan/Korea market to meet our targets.
  • Relevant Market information update for Japan and Korea Auto/Tire production statistics including import/export data and competition related info



  • Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive with a track record in the region of Korea and/or Japan
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
