Main Responsibilities:

  • Layout, Cut, Fit, Assemble and test components for installations
  • Plan, measure, layout and produce isometric and spool drawings
  • Install replacement or new components in piping systems including the correct hangers, supports and heat tracing
  • Plan and perform rigging and hoisting of components for installations
  • Assist in troubleshooting, temporary patching, inspection, repair, cleaning or replacement of components in existing plant systems
  • Remove and install pressure relief devices including Safety Valves and Rupture Discs
  • Plan and prepare components and systems for leak testing
  • Perform pressure tests of components and systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on components and systems as directed by Engineering
  • Carries out such other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Education & Qualifications:

Completion of OSSGD

Completion of apprenticeship courses to meet requirements of the C of Q Pipefitter Certification

Certified Steamfitter/Pipefitter -- valid 307A  Cerificate of Qualification 

Starting Hourly Rate: $54.25
