About the Role
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing site. Working closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams, you will help foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and nuclear safety requirements.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and improve occupational health and safety programs and safe work practices.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
- Support risk assessments, audits, inspections, and safety performance tracking.
- Deliver and support safety training programs and competency initiatives.
- Act as the Site Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and maintain compliance with applicable nuclear safety regulations.
- Assist with site environmental and HSEQ initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with employees, contractors, and leadership to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant health and safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing, petrochemical, or industrial setting.
- CRSP or CRST designation (or working toward certification) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with incident investigations, audits, training, and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Expected Compensation:
$75,800 - $101,100 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
