Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the Butyl production unit. 
Focus on product quality, unit productivity, environmental compliance, business profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall efficient unit operations. 

Monitor and interpret product data on a daily basis to determine process trends and abnormalities and communicate appropriate data to operating personnel.

Assist with Quality System Documentation to include Quality Control Plans, Quality Improvement Plans, CIP’s. 

Perform statistical studies to revise the current manufacturing specification or to propose new manufacturing specification.

Support the Quality Champion for investigation for answering customer complaints and quality outbreaks

Take the lead for investigations of process related incident, process upsets and deviations, near hits and hazardous conditions.


Education, Qualifications & Skills

B. Eng. Chemical Engineering preferred, P. Eng preferred. Consideration will be given to recent Chemical Engineering graduates

Relevant experience in chemical process engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the petrochemical industry is preferred
