For our Supply chain planning department we are currently looking for a:  

 

Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Analyst

(full time, based in Geleen, the Netherlands)

 

The position:

As a SC planning and inventory analyst, you are responsible for quantitative and qualitative analysis and decision support on a broad range of supply chain planning issues. You work on both an operational and on a project-by-project basis to support the Global SCP team in the objective of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of planning processes. You

  • extract information and insights from data sources as well as design and lead the development of reporting solutions.
  • lead the improvement and further development of supply planning tool and systems .
  • support SCM in global supply network analysis and optimization.
  • assist in SCP process and KPI monitoring and reporting with a view to improving both process performance and accuracy of planning information. This includes both short and long term reporting and monitoring.
  • identify opportunities to improve processes and participate in implementing solutions.
  • become a subject matter expert on available data sources and their impact on the business.
  • perform analysis of overall system inventory to find opportunities for optimization.
  • take inventory optimization initiatives from E2E supply chain perspective.
  • support the Finance team in working capital analysis.
  • participate/lead Supply Chain Master Data processes and optimization activities.

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in commercial and / or technical field
  • 3-8 years of experience in demand and supply chain planning in a global business-to-business organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Not afraid of lots of data, also financial
  • Advanced software skills
  • Result oriented, ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English (oral and written), additional linguistic capability is a plus
