Finance and Accounting Manager

As the Finance and Accounting Manager you are part of the finance function of ARLANXEO. You are the main contact for the CFO, controllers, other business functions and our group Accounting Shared Service Centre in relation to finance related activities. ARLANXEO recently transitioned the accounting function. In this role you will act as a single point of contact within ARLANXEO for several accounting, tax, and finance related matters.

This role is a hybrid role, our office is based in Geleen. 

YOUR KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordination and management of accounting and financial closing, and reporting activities, acting as the interface between the company and the accounting shared services center.
• Monthly Income statement and balance sheet analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting, identify issues and opportunities. 
• Advise management, shared services and other (finance) functions regarding compliance aspects of financial reporting. 
• Maintain and ensure the company is compliant with the Group Internal Control Framework.
• Ensure tax compliance for direct and indirect tax reporting in collaboration with the group function Tax. 
• Monitoring and forecasting of the liquidity of the company. 
• Responsible for the coordination of the internal or external (tax/financial) audit (quarterly reviews and year-end audit).
• Participate in projects regarding improvements in the accounting and reporting processes and tools.

 
WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience in the field of accounting, preferably in manufacturing business.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Experience in SAP (S4 Hana and SAP BPC are considered an advantage).
• Experienced capability to operate in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
• Experience with Dutch tax legislation is considered an advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of reporting and accounting principles (IFRS).
• Strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and communicative personality.
