Job Title: Payroll Specialist 

ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a Payroll Specialist at our Pittsburgh office!

As a Payroll Specialist, you will have the opportunity to process payroll not only for US employees; but learn payroll for Canada to serve as a backup and grow your skills. You will be able to take your time off, as there will be resources to back you up as well!

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for timely processing payroll for more than 400 employees in multiple locations
  • Build your collaboration skills by partnering with our payroll vendors
  • Partner with ARLANXEO’s Tax Department colleagues to solve issues and ensure compliance of payroll tax remittances.
  • Work with the HR team and Business Partners in resolving employee complaints relating to payroll activities
  • Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses
  • Create a payroll calendar for the organization
  • Manage tax deductions, benefits and garnishments
  • Ensure the company accurately reports vacation usage, impacting the bottom line
  • Coordinate with vendors to provide employees with accurate W2 documents

In order to accomplish this you will possess: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Preferred 5 years experience processing multi-state payroll
  • CPP preferred
  • Experience in benefits administration a plus
  • Proven MS Excel skills preferred (V lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data integrity, data security)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • UKG/Ultimate Software experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • High level of customer service skills, willing to listen and actively problem solve issues as they arise
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
