ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a Process Engineer at our Orange Manufacturing site. 

As a Process Engineer, you will:

Provide technical leadership and drive a continuous improvement culture for the HNBR production unit.  The position should focus on safe operations, environmental compliance, product quality, unit productivity, business profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall economic efficiency of the unit operations.


Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Provide technical leadership to the HNBR production unit.  The position should focus on product quality, unit productivity, environmental compliance, business profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall efficient unit operations.Support the project prioritization and selection process for the PBR, HNBR and Utilities Units.
  • Monitor and interpret product/process data daily to determine process trends and abnormalities to communicate appropriate data to HNBR operating personnel and resolve process issues.
  •  Perform statistical studies and analysis to revise the current manufacturing specification or to propose new specifications. 
  • Perform process analysis to improve operation of the HNBR process units.
  • Recommend projects for the capital spending plan to increase production capacity, reliability and/or safety of operations, decrease productions costs and off spec production and consider environmental aspects.  Justify projects with appropriate profit studies.  Take the lead to develop project scopes and implement projects, setting and controlling timelines and budgets at the same time.  Attend unit capital project meetings and present updates to assigned projects.


In order to accomplish this you will possess:

  • Minimum of an Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing facility
  • SAP experience
  • Possess knowledge of Honeywell Control Systems
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, work in fast-paced environment, and manage multiple and competing tasks and demands. Organization and time-management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in an environment that receives limited routine supervision and relies on experience, education and good judgment in making decisions.
