As Senior Account manager your key role is to execute the sales in broadest sense at the applicable accounts within the Marketing &Sales objectives and policies set. HPE is comprising of five technical rubbers product lines used broadly by many industrial customers in several industries. In this dynamic function you are part of a very international team and reporting to the Head of Sales in the EMEA region.  


The Senior Account Manager  will support the Head of sales in the EMEA region in following fields:

  • Achieving sales targets set for volume, pricing and margins
  • Sales volume forecasting
  • Managing up-to-date commercial information
  • Credit management
  • Prospecting; looking for sales & technical projects/opportunities and potentials and updating of reporting accordingly
  • Account planning; monitoring of key performance indicators
  • Business development and scouting
  • Supporting implementation of grade and/or product related changes
  • First / front office technical service
  • Complaint handling
  • Guiding & monitoring of Technical Service & Application Development  and Customer Service support
  • Customer Satisfaction
  • Managing if applicable agents & distributors
  • Coordinating if applicable for (key) accounts across countries within region or across regions
  • Contracting (quotation & price handling, payment terms / credit limits, supply agreements, customer master data handling)


Your profile:

  • Very ambitious, able to work in a very dynamic and very international environment
  • Master Degree f.i. in Business Administration or Business Economics with clear affinity for technical aspects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an international Business 2 Business environment
  • Fluency in English & German
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively both in a team and also independently
  • Ability to cope with stress and deadlines
  • Well-developed intercultural sensitivity
  • Skilled in learning on the fly when facing new challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to manage both internal and external contacts
  • Collaborative and communicative personality
  • Integer and fully compliant with the code of conduct of Arlanxeo
