The role:

In the position of HR Lead Germany you play a key role in the translation of the company’s HR Strategy in Germany. This means you will:

  • Lead the German HR team (~5 direct reports) and report directly to the CHRO
  • Act as HR Business Partner for ARLANXEO in Germany in which you lead the development and implementation of the HR strategy at a regional level;
  • Ensure the alignment, execution and implementation of local HR procedures, policies and processes in close cooperation with the organization’s leadership;
  • Act as a subject matter expert for a wide range of HR topics within the region with a sound understanding of current- & emerging external regulations and industry best practices;
  • Promote and coordinate executive-level recruitment activities within Germany in line with ARLANXEO’s recruitment strategy;
  • Manage a portfolio of global and strategic projects in line with the overall project management strategy.


Your profile:

  • Obtains a University or post master degree in Human Resources;
  • Multiple years of experience as HR Lead in an international matrixed environment;
  • Has strategic mindset with a pragmatic approach, not afraid to roll up the sleeves;
  • Comfortably deals with ambiguous situations, always keeping the long term in mind;
  • Experience in leading and organizing resources in short time scales within strategic plans;
  • Has interacted intensely with works councils and unions;
  • Fluency in English and German, written and spoken, is required.
