Wahrscheinlich verwenden Sie synthetische Kautschuke in Ihrem täglichen Leben, ohne es zu merken. Für die Fahrt zur Arbeit und nach Hause brauchen Sie Gummi in den Reifen Ihres Autos oder Fahrrads. Beim Duschen befindet sich eine Gummidichtung in Ihrem Wasserhahn. Beim Öffnen des Kühlschranks sorgen die Gummidichtungen dafür, dass die Tür richtig schließt und die Kälte drinnen bleibt. Neben diesen eher „traditionellen“ Anwendungen wird unser synthetischer Kautschuk auch in Batterien für Elektroautos, in Windmühlen und Solarmodulen verwendet.

As a Global Supply Chain Excellence Engineer your primary task is to seek opportunities for process and efficiency improvements to positive impact service, cost, quality and safety. You will be part of the Global Supply Chain Excellence team and as such work on regional as well as global excellence initiatives and projects in the broad area of supply chain and related business processes aligned to the operational, tactical and strategic goals. You will work with the relevant stakeholders in various functions to ensure E2E execution and delivery of process excellence in business processes such as Plan to Produce, Order to Cash, Transport to Deliver, Warehouse and Logistics management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes to identify process and efficiency improvements in cooperation with functional and regional key users, IT and global process experts.

• Support key users in operational problem solving, action plan identification and follow-up.

• Support, develop and own project management activities such as project planning, charters, roadmaps and business cases from ideation to approval and implementation.

• Lead and support regional and global improvement projects with a focus on standardizing, strengthening, automating and digitalizing.

• Document processes, develop training materials and conduct training sessions with all process participants to ensure a standardized way of working and the implementation of best practices.

• Develop and implement global reports to monitor and analyze KPIs and derive actions in cooperation with impacted stakeholders and foster a culture of continuous improvement

• Oversee the adherence to designed processes to ensure operational excellence

     Education / Knowledge:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain , Logistics or related business processes.

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience acquired mainly in process and chemical industry in a global business-to-business organization with state-of-the-art processes and tools in the supply chain management.

• Process analytic, problem solving and conceptional design skills.

• Experience in business process redesign, change and project management.

• Interacted in a multicultural and matrix context where your strong communication skills (influence and convince) are used to motivate, empower and challenge project performances with a variety of stakeholders.

• Capacity to be oriented on short term performances and simultaneously to have the ability for building a positive mid-term vision with the associated action plans.

• Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio and Power BI.

• In depth knowledge of SAP by preference S4 Hana in the SCM related modules: IM-MM-WM-SD-PP-TM and related Master Data.

• Fluent in English (oral and written), additional linguistic capability is a plus.

• You will be willing to travel as needed.
