About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Global Integrated Business Planning Intern to support our statistical forecasting enhancement initiatives. In this role, you will assist with reviewing and developing statistical forecasts, as well as identifying where these forecasts can be effectively applied across the different businesses based on accuracy and value-add. You will also support in simulations and data analysis aimed at further improving the use of statistical forecasting within the broader business forecasting process.
This internship offers hands-on experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, the Maestro planning system, and data analysis in an international business environment. You will be part of the Global Business Clusters team, working alongside the Global Head of Business, IBP Process Leads, and Marketing Managers, while collaborating closely with the Business Excellence team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the review, development, and continuous improvement of statistical forecasts.
- Analyse forecast accuracy and identify opportunities to increase forecast value-add across different business areas.
- Assist in determining where and how statistical forecasting can be effectively applied within the business.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities in forecasting performance.
- Support simulations and scenario analyses to enhance forecasting methodologies and decision-making.
- Work with the Maestro planning system to support forecasting activities and data validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Global Business teams, IBP Process Leads, Marketing Managers, and the Business Excellence team.
- Prepare and present insights, reports, and recommendations to enhance statistical forecasting to support business planning.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or close to completing a Batcheler’s (HBO/WO) or Master’s (WO) degree (e.g., Business Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or similar).
- Experience or familiarity with statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy/bias.
- Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and interpret data
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- You are eager to learn a lot and work within a dynamic international business environment.

Hours: 40 hours per week (incl. time for school assignments)
Internship allowance: €500 per month
