Warehouse & Transportation Procurement Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse & Transportation Procurement Intern to support our logistics procurement activities. In this role, you will assist with tendering processes, contract preparation, and operational support related to warehouse and transportation services procurement.

This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement processes, logistics operations, supplier management, and data analysis within an international business environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • RFQ Process Support: Assist in managing the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process for warehouse and transportation services.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, consolidate, and analyse data from supplier proposals to support evaluation and decision-making.
  • Documentation Preparation: Support the preparation of RFQ documents, evaluation templates, and supplier comparison reports.
  • Meeting Follow-up: Track outcomes from supplier meetings and internal discussions, documenting key points and action items.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain team, Operational Procurement, Accounting, Sustainable team and Legal departments) to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.
  • Contract Review: Support contract review and preparation, including service scope definition and commercial terms.
  • Negotiation Preparation: Assist in preparing materials and documentation to support contract negotiations with suppliers.
  • Operational Support: Provide daily support in monitoring warehouse and transportation performance, including performance tracking, supplier service scope clarification, and process documentation.
  • Sustainable procurement support: follow up and support Ecovadis 2026 score among global procurement.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or close to completing a Master’s degree (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business Administration, or similar).
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience or familiarity with procurement processes, RFQ procedures, contract review, and warehouse service scope is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data handling skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Executive power, organized, and detail-oriented.
