For our Global Marketing & Sales Excellence team, we are currently looking for a


Commercial Excellence Advisor
(full time, based in Geleen, Netherlands)


Main responsibilities:


You support the Head of Marketing & Sales Excellence in setting, implementing and executing the M&S Excellence objectives and consequent programs & initiatives.

A crucial objective is the standardization and harmonization of projects around several key Marketing & Sales processes, for example:


  • Order to cash
  • Prospect to order
  • Financial and commercial reporting
  • Performance measurement and tracking
  • Change management
  • New business models
  • Contract management
  • Country and Agency Management
  • Segmentation and portfolio management
  • Marketing & Sales channel management
  • (Global) key account management
  • Digital agenda
  • Customer relationship management
  • Developing commercial skills and competences


Your profile:


  • Master Degree e.g. in Business Administration or Business Economics with clear affinity with technical aspects.
  • Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in an international Business to Business environment or consultancy background.
  • High potential, very ambitious (next internal career move in 2-3 years) and able to work in a very dynamic and international environment.
  • Affinity with the Chemical Industry & B2B, technical environment
  • Well-developed intercultural sensitivity.
  • Eager to learn and skilled in learning ‘on the fly’ when facing new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch/German is a plus.
  • IT knowledge: MS office and social media knowledge is a bonus.
  • Collaborative and communicative personality.
