For our Finance department of ARLANXEO Netherlands B.V. we are currently looking for a 


Accounting and Finance Manager

(m/f/x, fulltime, Remote and Geleen)


The position

The Accounting and Finance Manager is part of the finance function of the Company and the main contact for the CFO, controllers, other business functions and our group Accounting Shared Service Centre in relation to finance related activities. The company recently transitioned the accounting function on the Global Accounting Shared Service Centre in which the current position will act as a single point of contact in the company for several accounting, tax and finance related matters.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Coordination and management of accounting and financial closing and reporting activities acting as the interface between the company and the accounting shared service centre.
  • Monthly Income statement and balance sheet analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting, identify issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop financial (KPI) reporting for management of the company.
  • Advises management, shared services and other (finance) functions regarding compliance aspects of financial reporting.
  • Maiintain and ensure the company is compliant with the Group Internal Control Framework.
  • Ensure tax compliance for direct and indirect tax reporting in collaboration with the group function Tax.
  • Responsible for the short term liquidity forecast submission to Corporate Treasury.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the external (tax/financial) audit (quarterly reviews and year-end audit).
  • Responsible for the coordination of the internal audits on Financial Reporting.
  • Participate in projects regarding improvements in the accounting and reporting processes and tools.


Your profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5-6 years professional experience in the field of Accounting, preferably in manufacturing business.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience in SAP (S4 Hana and SAP BPC are considered an advantage).
  • Experienced capability to operate in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
  • Experience with Dutch tax legislation is considered an advantage.
  • Experience and knowledge of reporting and accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Strong analytical, numeric, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and communicative personality.
