ARLANXEO’s SUSTAINABILITY ROADMAP
ARLANXEO’s strategy is built around three horizons. One of these horizons is “Shape our Future”. To shape our future a Sustainability Roadmap has been developed which consists of 6 building blocks. Progress on ARLANXEO’s sustainability journey needs to be reported transparently to our own colleagues, customers, suppliers, the shareholder, governments, local authorities and many more stakeholders. The European Union developed the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (EU CSRD) which ARLANXEO needs to comply with in 2026 reporting on material topics starting in 2025. ARLANXEO also needs, for example, to communicate its progress (CoP) to the UN Global Compact and its improvements to Ecovadis.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
As a Sustainability Reporting Officer, you:

• are responsible for all communication and reporting related to sustainability (internal and external) and therefore, you will be working closely with corporate communications.
• expedite data gathering for listed Sustainability ratings like Ecovadis, Carbon Disclosure Platform (CDP) and Science Based Target initiative (SBTi).
• expedite data gathering for answering (customer) surveys.
• will organize the sustainability reporting to ARAMCO, Round Table of Sustainable Palm oil (RSPO), UN Global Compact and potentially others.
• will lead actions to support the non-financial (external) reporting related to the EU CSRD.
• will ensure that ARLANXEO’s sustainability reporting is compliant with EU CSRD and/or other regulations, legislation or guidelines.
• work closely together with your direct sustainability team colleagues and with many colleagues from all functions in the organization.

The job is based in Geleen, The Netherlands. You will be part of the newly formed sustainability team which will drive and embed sustainability in the whole organization.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED
To accomplish this role, you will possess:

• bachelor’s degree in (international) business administration, marketing or similar field. Master is preferred.
• minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar role like reporting analyst, accounting, controller, etc. Knowledge of the EU CSRD is preferred.
• motivation and passion about sustainability.
• ability to get information from others, advise and convince others and be a sparring partner for your area of expertise (reporting).
• the attitude and awareness regarding (non-financial) reporting compliance.
• highly developed communication skills.
